The COSA Team is built by experts with several decades of expertise and relationships. COSA was mentored by Prof. S Parsuraman – Ex Dean TISS as a Social Movement to improve the lives of the underprivileged.

A Strong History

COSA is an autonomous social science research institute. With multi-disciplinary research as its core activity, COSA formulates ideas, undertake empirical studies, theorize and disseminates knowledge through training and publication in English and Vernacular languages.

With the experts of Social Scientists, academicians, industry experts, COSA consulting activity, can make available their knowledge and expertise to benefit government, public sector organisations, community groups and businesses. Such interactions in turn benefit the faculty bringing back to their teaching, research insights, experiences and contacts that they have gained as consultants.

It is intended that by adopting a people centric approach, youth engagement can be considered as a major contributing factor to the enhancement of gross domestic product (GDP), leading to the overall development of a region and the country in the long run.

1. Facilitate and strengthen research capabilities, basic research, impact assessment studies of Universities.
2. Identify areas/issues which require focused research in developmental activities of government and Industry.
3. Undertake and facilitate Industrial projects in India and Middle East countries.
4. Provide platform to students for their field work, internships and employment.
5. Help Universities in implementing experiential learning model of education delivery.
6. Aid in establishing social incubation centre for social start-ups and mentoring.
7. Act as a catalyst for the government and bridge the gaps in its social policies.
8. Help in designing and implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects.
9. Act as a social consultant to various government, public sector and industrial organisations and community groups.

Our Mentor

The concept and delivery for COSA has been designed under the principles and guidelines by our Mentor – the Late Shri Prof. Parsuraman.

His guiding thoughts and light continues to guide our forward growth, now and in the future.
